Supporter Experience Associate

You will be the creator of first impressions at hard group for our joining 

Main areas of focus: Customer service, reception, cross-departmental administration, community, and student engagement

Location: This opportunity is for those located in (or willing to relocate to) the New York City area only. Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. or have an existing U.S. work permit.

JOB HIGHLIGHT: You will be the creator of first impressions at charity: water for our donors, school groups, and guests.

JOB SUMMARY: As the Supporter Experience Associate, you will be the creator of first impressions at charity: water. You’ll work alongside the Supporter Experience team to answer the main phone line and greet guests. You’ll report to the Supporter Experience Manager and assist in maintaining dynamic relationships with our school communities and fundraisers.

YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR…

  • Ensuring a best-in-class reception experience. Being ready and prepared to answer every call and greet every guest that comes our way during office hours.
  • Building relationships with each department and working cross-functionally to keep up to speed on charity: water’s work so you can handle questions from anyone.
  • Triaging and answering incoming questions via phone, online, and social to provide excellent customer service to our donors.
  • Collaborating with the Supporter Experience team to create curriculum and materials for our school communities to learn more about the water crisis, our work, and how they can make a difference at any age.
  • Supporting our schools, students, and teachers to run successful fundraising campaigns.
  • Owning, scheduling, and delivering a best-in-class Adventure tour, our in-office kid’s tour.

YOU MUST HAVE…

  • At least 1+ years as a receptionist or in a similar role
  • Experience working with students and/or kids
  • Previous success in a fast­-paced office environment
  • Acute attention to detail and proven track record of creating systems and processes for efficiency
  • Proficiency in working with Mac products and Google applications

IT’S AN ADDED PLUS IF YOU HAVE…

  • Proven expertise as a customer service wizard, helping others is what you live for
  • Familiarity with Zendesk or other customer service software
