Scott Harrison

In 2004, Scott served as a photojournalist for Mercy Ships in Liberia, West Africa, where he learned the life-threatening effects of contaminated water. Upon moving back to his home in New York City in 2006, he founded charity: water. See more of Scott's story here.

Christoph Gorder

Christoph grew up in the Central African Republic and Nigeria, where getting clean water is still a dream for millions. He’s spent the last 15 years at AmeriCares, bringing medicine, medical supplies and healthcare to people in crisis around the world. Christoph joined charity: water to lead our programs, run day-to-day operations, and help us maximize our efficiency and impact worldwide.

Lauren Letta

Lauren joined charity: water in 2010 after working on global campaigns for brands like Warner Bros., Saks Fifth Avenue, and Swarovski. She’s held a variety of roles at charity: water, overseeing major campaigns, special projects, production and people and culture. Today, she oversees our day-to-day operations. Outside the office, you can find Lauren eating pizza with her husband all over town.

Aditi Deeg

I'm new!Born in India and raised in Maine, Aditi dropped out of medical school to pursue a career in finance due to her love of numbers. After 10 years on Wall Street, including a couple of stints in the hedge fund world, Aditi knew the next phase of her life would be spent making a difference in the world. She is joining us from a 115-year-old nonprofit, The Association of Junior Leagues International, where she was the CFO and COO. In her spare time, Aditi loves reading non-fiction, traveling with her family, cooking, and extra spicy foods—she's always ready to challenge anyone to a heat test!

Carly Cott

Carly lived in various cities across the Midwest and East Coast before falling in love with Manhattan a few years ago. After graduating from Syracuse University with a degree in Photojournalism, she worked at the Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and then spent three years at Bionic in Consumer Insights Strategy. Carly runs into someone she knows everywhere she goes, has a collection of over 500 greeting cards from around the world, and hosts people constantly (despite living in a 5th floor walkup apartment).

Brian Honohan

Brian used to lead a web development team for publishing, entertainment and traditional product-based clients. Now, his sights are set on crafting technology that accelerates a completely different purpose – charity: water's impact on the water crisis.

Jasdeep Gosal

A New England native, Jasdeep spent the last seven years honing his software development skills in the for-profit world before joining our tech team. Beyond coding for a meaningful cause, he also likes bikes, knitting, fashion, cats and Chihuahuas.

Tristan O’Neil

Tristan joins our engineering team from Vermont, where he lives with his wife, daughter and Nebelung (“the best breed of cat”). He comes to charity: water after five years of software consulting with a background that ranges from print design to software engineering. When he’s not writing code, Tristan is running, snowboarding or soaking up the Vermont outdoors.

Broc Klein

Hailing from Pennsylvania, Broc got a degree in Computer Science at PSU and started his career in D.C. For two years, he spent the majority of his time in a NASA basement before moving to New York and joining charity: water. He is enthused about leveraging technology to improve the non-profit world and provide clean drinking water to people in need.

David Flaherty

Dave is a native New Yorker who spent the past few years making his way around the country working as a freelance web developer and musician. Now he's back home again in New York and serving as one of our Software Engineers. Dave can be found in Brooklyn with his cat, John, doing anything and everything music related - whether it be performing, rehearsing, or recording.

Nate Kratchman

Before charity: water, Nate worked as a Software Engineer at Case Commons, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting better outcomes for children and families through technology. He studied Bioengineering at Lehigh University and can typically be found reading about all things futurism and human 2.0 or creating, performing, and catching live music.

Shana Schundler

Having lived in the Boston area for the past 12 years, Shana worked at a software consulting firm and a tech start-up before joining the charity: water engineering team remotely. She was originally trained as a classical musician and enjoys traveling, anything spicy, and spending her free time chasing after her two toddlers.

Natasha Ibrahim

Tasha worked at the Baltimore Museum of Art, the National Museum of Natural History, and as an artist assistant for six years before pivoting to become a software engineer. She combined both worlds while working at Fractured Atlas, a nonprofit for the arts, as a software engineer. You can find Tasha in Baltimore, the city she loves, tending to her urban vegetable garden and taking on too many projects in her free time.

Lily Burtness

Lily is originally from Minnesota but spent 11 years of her childhood in France and England. She majored in Computer Engineering with a minor in International Engineering at the University of Maryland and studied abroad in Singapore. While there, she traveled around Southeast Asia to places like Vietnam, Thailand, and Laos. You can find Lily working remotely from Baltimore, catching up on good television, and always planning her next travel adventures.

MZ Goodman

MZ joins charity: water after having spent the last decade leading software product teams at The New York Times, Ralph Lauren, goop, and Glossier. She is thrilled to be back in a mission-driven environment. MZ grew up in Montreal but has now lived in New York City longer. She is perpetually trying to keep up her French. She and her husband have two children who are thankfully good kids and adventurous eaters. Weekends find them exploring the city when they're not shuttling to soccer or swimming.

Chris Danner

Originally from Berkeley, California, Chris studied Art History at Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. Prior to joining charity: water, he co-founded the e-commerce platform TAYLR, worked in impact investing with Good Capital Project, and was a freelance product manager for early stage startups. Chris and his wife met on the side of the road in Colorado. They have twin daughters, who are the cutest little fussbuckets you’ve ever seen.

Nitya Oberoi

Nitya moved to the U.S. from Kuwait to pursue her education at the University of Texas and then followed her passion for tech to NYC. She worked at GS, LimeWire, Yipit and Quirky before a five-month sabbatical in SE Asia that convinced her that her next tech venture should make a positive impact in the world. When she’s not on a computer, Nitya can be found biking, rock climbing or traveling.

Dan Gold

I'm new!After taking some time to freelance and travel, Dan, a charity: water alum, is excited to be back! His work has been published in O, The Oprah Magazine, Travel + Leisure, Lonely Planet, and Business Insider. Dan has run three marathons, gotten a haircut in 15 countries, and enjoys photography, travel, and learning new things.

Brian Hoyer

After receiving a Masters in Public Health and International Affairs from Columbia, Brian dedicated his career to the public health and humanitarian sectors. He has led emergency response and recovery teams following large disasters around the world, directed a multi-year response to the Cholera epidemic in Haiti, and managed an Ebola Treatment Unit in Liberia. Fun fact: Brian has gotten his hair cut in 25 different countries!

Michelle Riewer

Michelle spent five years with AmeriCares, working in emergency response and responding to natural disasters in Haiti, Japan and Chile before obtaining a Masters in Public Health from Columbia University. She jumped into the charity: water team with four months on the ground in Ethiopia and now looks forward to leading our partnerships and programs in Asia.

Stephanie Goetz

Straight out of Kentucky, Stephanie joined the Peace Corps in Togo, West Africa, to work on community-based health projects. After summers dedicated to public health work in Thailand and Nigeria, she finished grad school at Columbia. Now, she's supporting our partnerships in Asia and Ethiopia.

Michaela Walsh

Michaela joins our team after working at a nonprofit community foundation in Connecticut for almost 2 years. She graduated from Fordham University, where she studied Communications and Sociology and interned in television production. She's crazy about Netflix, dogs and exploring city neighborhoods.
